Nico Deoki is a seasoned open-format DJ with 25 years of experience under his belt. While his career spans various genres, his true passion lies in disco, house, and techno. Beginning his journey in Melbourne's esteemed cocktail bars, Nico quickly rose to prominence with residencies in Australia's top underground venues and regular appearances in the city's premier commercial clubs. He has captivated audiences on international stages, sharing the limelight with techno royalty such as James Zabiela and Dave Seaman, at legendary venues like the DoubleSix Rooftop and the renowned Jenja Nightclub in Bali, as well as energising crowds at events like Beyond the Valley and Midsumma Festival.

 

Nico is also part of a newly formed DJ-band alongside Maya Vice Music (Maya Weiss), a former contestant of Australian Idol. Together with musicians like Sammy on percussion and Ash James on sax, among others, they deliver electrifying performances that leave audiences in awe.

Among the notable venues where Nico has showcased his talent are OneSixOne and Tramp Bar, where he held residencies, as well as iconic spots like Revolver and The Emerson. His performances at Yugen Dining NYE 2023 with Ash James and the closing set of the opening night at Espy Main Room have solidified his reputation as a top-tier DJ. From feature sets with sax on cello at Ms Collins to appearances at Club 23, Nobu, and Beyond, Nico's dynamic style and magnetic presence have made him a sought-after act by venues and event directors.
